Spirit Passages’ 14th
Initiatory Apprenticeship in Advanced Shamanism and Shamanic Healing
This training is designed to be as close to traditional shamanic teachings as is possible in a modern context.
Our commitment throughout the program is to support you to develop safe and effective skills to step into a shamanic way of being that not only enhances your own life, but can be used in service to your family, your community and the natural world. During the program, you will receive in-person teaching and guidance from Evelyn Rysdyk and Allie Knowlton.
In this program you will experience and learn how to perform all traditional shamanic healing methods. These include extraction, power animal retrieval, soul retrieval, sound doctoring, depossession, psychopomp, absentee healing, divination and healing through transfiguration–with a focus on how to negotiate all relationships with other beings in a safe, caring and healthy way.
You will learn to facilitate a healing space and support others to realize their potential. In the process, you will find a deeper sense of your own power, develop more trust in yourself and spirit, strengthen your own clear boundaries, develop ways to be fully embodied and free up more of your creative energies. In addition, you will learn how to be a conduit for healing energies, perform oracular work and divination, enter into a deeper partnership with the natural world, have opportunities to heal from your own wounds and learn how to create and facilitate powerful ceremonies. You will learn how to experience a life with more power, confidence and joy.
This intensive program is limited a small group of participants. This provides you with an extraordinary opportunity to go deeply into the practice of shamanism in a smaller, dedicated circle that allows time for individualized support.
We want you to live from your true nature as a divinely radiant being!
The Spirit Passages Initiatory Apprenticeship in Advanced Shamanism and Shamanic Healing meets for a total of six intensive weekends at a lakeside location in midcoast Maine. You need to be able to journey successfully to the Upper and Lower worlds for this program and feel a strong connection to your Teachers and Power animals. This training may be used as a prerequisite for the Spirit Passages Graduate Program.
Please provide:
a. A two-page letter which details your personal reasons for wishing to enter the apprenticeship (This letter should include where you learned shamanic journeying.)
b. The registration form, which can be accessed through the link below the program dates.
c. Your non-refundable deposit of $500
If accepted into the program, you will be required to provide a valid Visa or Mastercard to set up the payment schedule for the remaining tuition. This is a 18-month payment schedule of approximately $250 per month. You are also responsible for separate food and lodging costs. (Shared room with one other person: $489.- Single option: $$758. Room & Board costs subject to change.)

9th Graduate Program in Advanced Shamanism
In our shamanic practices, learning the nuts and bolts of shamanic techniques and methods of transformation are just the very beginning. This Spirit Passages program supports advanced students to develop a deeper and more intense spiritual potency for the purpose of healing themselves, others and the planet.
Reverent Participatory Relationship is the way shamans capable of miraculous feats, live their lives. Approaching the world feeling a humble respect–expressing consideration and appreciation for all beings, these kinds of shamans participate in the world with profoundly coherent energy. Shamans understand very deeply that everything in the world is inspirited and that no one can exist without the complex interactions of the others with whom we share the planet. This allows their actions to arise from a deep sense sacred reciprocity in motion.
Each long weekend of the program will have one of the four elements as its unifying theme. You will also be supported to explore the living beings with whom you share the ecosystem and learn how to develop relationships with the trees, plants, insects, rocks, and birds. Miracles that are needed in these times require changes in our selves as well as developing relationships with the many “Spirit People” that exist in the Middle world.
In addition, you will explore powerful new forms of healing which are uniquely suited to today’s troublesome diseases and have opportunities to receive supervision of your personal shamanic practice.
The program will meet for a total of four intensive, long weekends at a lakeside location in coastal Maine. You will be bringing the work home by doing journeywork, specific exercises and ceremony on your land or near to where you live.
You must have graduated the Spirit Passages Two-Year Training OR a Foundation for Shamanic Studies Three-Year Training OR another advanced shamanic training to join this program.
Please provide a two-page letter detailing your personal reasons for wishing to enroll. This letter should include indicate your previous training.
