“New Moon Ceremony: Michael Stone & Evelyn C. Rysdyk” (January 28, 2017)
Host Michael Stone begins this broadcast with a lovely opening ritual invocation.
Evelyn followed with teachings about our power as co-creators, the nature of our consciousness as a feature of physics, the myth of our ideas of separation, the power of gratitude offerings to transform our existence––as well as the revolutionary idea that Love does not require a subject, but rather is the unifying coherence of our mind, our emotional body and our physiology in harmony with All That Is!
Finally, the New Moon ceremony was a guided journey to open up gratitude and expand it as an offering to ever widening circles which finally includes the wider Cosmos. Then the process reversed, bringing the reciprocal blessings through those spheres to our own bodies.
“Conversations with Michael Stone”
What follows here are two conversations between Evelyn Rysdyk and Michael Stone for his program, “Conversations: Possibilities and Perspectives on Local and Global Issues” on KVMR in Nevada City, California. Michael’s show focuses on Environmental Restoration, Spiritual Fulfillment, Community Organization, Health and Wellness and Social Justice.” The initial subject of the conversation was Evelyn’s book, The Norse Shaman. It quickly became an organic, jazz riff on shamanism, epigenetics, DNA, the power of gratitude, the rise of the divine feminine and so much more. These two engaging voices in the shamanic community were clearly enjoying each others’ company. Their original plan for a one-hour conversation quickly became two opportunities to share with their audience!

Energy Stew: “Ancient women were the wise leaders” with Evelyn C. Rysdyk (October 21, 2016)
In the northern latitudes thousands of years ago, ancient tribes had to deal with changing climates and harsh conditions. Their instincts were put to the test and their women were most able to use deep shamanic practices to find answers and advise their tribes. Christianity outlawed them but their records and practices outlived that repression. Native American tribes always regarded their women as the wise ones and they were consulted before important decisions were made. It’s helpful to understand the history of female leadership and counsel with the prospect of a female president of our country.
Peter Roth interviewed Evelyn C. Rysdyk, the author of The Norse Shaman to hear stories about the practices of these ancient shamans and how powerful and respected they were.
